About

MegaBearsFan

MegaBearsFan is not only an avid video game player, but is also a published reviewer on the game review aggregation site Game Observer (now defunct), a repeat participant in the weekly podcast Geek Fights, acts as an associate programmer and QA Engineer at trowaSoft, and has worked as a Software Engineer and tester for Grider Software's MyRegSecure Windows registry security program. He is an ex Star Trek: The Experience employee, currently a Software Engineer by profession and is his company's resident authority in Sid Meier's Civilization and American Football.

When not on a Civilization bender, he enjoys watching football, DVDs of his favorite TV shows, ranting about things on the internet, and learning to play Beatles songs on his guitar. He's also recently dipped his hands in the art of amateur video game development (you'll probably read more about this later!).

He has the bad luck of suffering from numerous hardware failures with just about any piece of expensive equipment he buys despite trying his best to keep them in good condition. Gaming consoles, TVs, Computers, guitars, and even a VCR have all stopped working for him with no apparent reason. That's right, his VCR broke!

The primary motivation of this blog is to provide a place for MegaBearsFan to express his opinions, particularly in the video game industry and football - two things that he is deeply passionate about. It is a place where he can aggregate his own video game reviews.
